Traffic Change Watch on I65 for the coming months: While driving along Interstate 65 in Bullitt County this week, I noticed that workers are putting in some temporary crossover lanes at about the 119 mile marker (where Highway 61 bridge goes over I65, just north of Shepherdsville). This is probably in preparation for closing some lanes as road repair work moves north of where they have been working. So, if you tavel I65 in Bullitt County, be prepared. I expect they will soon be closing some lanes in the area between Bernheim Forest (Highway 245 exit) and north for about five miles. This is an ongoing relacement of large sections of the concrete. Needed work, but causes huge traffic jams.
