Traffic Department has decided to take strict actions against those motorists who park their vehicles behind other cars, blocking smooth movement on the roads. Lt. Col. Muhammad Radhi al Hajiri, Director of Media & Awareness Department of General Directorate of Traffic said that strict action would be taken against those who stop their vehicles behind other cars and block the movement of other vehicles. The authority would seize such vehicles to the Vehicles Custody Centre and the owners or drivers have to pay transportation costs and applicable fines for the violation. The Department urged all motorists to abide by the rules and warned motorists against parking their vehicles at unauthorized places and cause hindrance for fellow road users.
