Traffic Police launches a Mobile Phone based App::::: JAMMU, JUNE 16: In order to restrain and serve as deterrent to traffic violations, Traffic Police City Jammu has launched a Mobile Phone based App namely “JK Traffic Police Challan Database App” for all internet based mobile phones (i-Os/Windows/Android) developed by Ideogram Technology Solutions(P) Ltd. Jammu. The mobile based App will assist all Traffic Challaning Officers/Officials while executing traffic enforcement/regulation of traffic duties at field level by way of accessing the particulars and previous violations if any done by offender since 2010 and onwards till date and if the offender has been found habitual of violating traffic rules repeatedly under the same offence, he/she shall be booked under MV Acts/ Rules with stern hands. As such traffic authorities has advised general public especially youth to co-operate with Traffic Police City Jammu,and abide by Traffic Rules/MV Acts and desist from violating Traffic violations especially against visible offences Viz. Dangerous Driving, Tripple Riding, Without Crash Helmet, Over-speeding, Wrong lane Driving, Red Light Jump etc. as all such violations may cause a damage to public property and leads to loss of precious human lives.
