Traffic Shift Scheduled for Route 1 December 11, 2014. The Project is announcing that the traffic pattern on Route 1 in Norwalk will be shifted between the Exit 14 ramp and Fairfield Avenue on Thursday December 11. This shift will accommodate future drainage, utility and sidewalk work on Route 1. Motorists should be prepared for delays the day of the shift while the work is proceeding. Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
