In the wake of recent judicial decisions A lot of people are posting more and more videos of cops committing , what they perceive to be, excessive force. However we cant ignore the fact that all cops arent bad and the issue of wrong doing goes both ways. I know some great cops, and their desire and expectation is the same as a normal citizen when leaving the house and thats to get back home. The overarching problem is Sin, its real! People do evil things and the only true answer is Jesus. But until He returns we have in place some imperfect methods to help govern criminal acts of sin. We have some good people who have dedicated their lives to doing so on our behalf. Lets not allow our emotions to cloud our better judgement and stereotype an entire group of people. As a black male I understand the repercussion of this. Lets maintain the facts there are bad apples and good ones. There are men and women putting their lives on the line day in and day out for our safety, that may mean they have to be tough because they too are a target. By no means am I justifying illegal cop behavior. I believe those who have failed to uphold their commitment to shield should be prosecuted the same as any other criminal. However maybe we can understand the reason that some cops have to be on edge......its to get home because any and everybody could be a threat. Btw the shooter in this video was like 75 years old. Not trying to start an argument with anyone, I have been harassed by a cop and I was in a circuit city short on my way to work. I just hope to help insight a movement were thought is not slave to emotion and Jesus point people to Christ.
