Traffic update: Broad St – 15th Ave to Victoria Ave On Sunday, September 21, City crews will begin pavement rehabilitation on Broad Street between 15th Avenue and Victoria Avenue. The work will consist of removing the old, worn top layer of asphalt and repaving the street and is scheduled to be completed in about two weeks, depending on weather. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction. Work will start in the northbound lanes, progressing from 15th Avenue to Victoria Avenue, followed by the southbound lanes back to 15th Avenue. When the intersection at 14th Avenue is restricted, motorists can access the General Hospital at either 13th Avenue or 15th Avenue. Beginning Friday, September 26 through Sunday, September 28, the intersection of Broad Street and Victoria Avenue will be closed. Victoria Avenue from Broad Street to Osler Street will be also closed. The City of Regina thanks citizens for their continued understanding and patience while this important infrastructure work is being completed during Regina’s short construction period. For everyone’s safety, drivers are reminded to slow down in construction zones and consider alternate routes to avoid construction. City workers and their families are relying on you.
