Traffic was stopped (as it is at 5pm on a Friday, on the corner of 2nd and Union)... so I inch my way out of the parking garage, waiting for the next nice person to let me in to join the jam.... the bike lane is empty, I look both ways and nose out a little further...and WOOSH a bike whizzes by me, misses me by an inch, and the rider shoots me the most evil look ever conceived, you know, that I feel sorry for you because you are an ignorant, car driving, low life look.... Then he blasted right through the red light. Because well, traffic was jammed, so screw the rules right? Than you Eric for posting this - because before reading this article, I sunk so low as to be upset with this bike riding hero... I had no idea what kind of deity I was dealing with.
