Trailer Update: We arrived home from Thanksgiving vacation to an Arctic Blast - snow on the ground, 25 degrees, and clear, which in Washington means COLD. For the sake of those that arent familiar with travel trailers, the water is hooked up by connecting a HOSE from the water source (ours happens to be our well) to the trailer. From there, there is a small holding tank where the water is heated and once you turn on the faucet, water comes out. The only exception is when the weather is so cold that the water in the hose freezes - you can turn the faucet off and on all day and not get a drop of water, just ask us, we know! Its been almost three days now and our water is still frozen. Im pretty sure this is the longest length of time snow has been on the ground since I moved here 24 years ago. Normally, I would be doing a happy dance about the snow but with 5 un-showered people living in a tight space, I have changed my happy dance to a rain dance! If anyone needs me, I have taken up residence at the YMCA where there are warm showers and treadmills! On the upside, I havent cooked a meal or done the dishes in 2 days. ❄️⛄️ And Thats Trailer Life! 😜
