Train for something because YOU want to, not because someone believes you should. Have a purpose. A great friend of mine asked me prior to my mock powerlifting meet Saturday at Tyler English Fitness the following question. Friend: Why did you start powerlifting? My response: (While simultaneously tapping to my chest with my palm) I started it for me. Friend: Are you trying to bring more lifter types to the gym? My response: Im doing it for me.
