**Trainee Occupational Hygiene Technician Required in Hyde Park, Doncaster** Location: Hyde Park, Doncaster (DN4), DN4 5JT Salary: £14,000 per annum Job type: Permanent Company: Euro Environmental Ltd Contact: Lee Hall Role Euro Environmental ltd is a growing multi disciplinary occupational hygiene & safety consultancy specialising in the fields of Indoor Air Quality, Legionella & Water Hygiene, Asbestos, Workplace Noise & Hazardous Substances. We are currently looking for a professional and committed individual to fill a vacancy within the Doncaster branch, job specific training will be given but an awareness of health & safety within workplace environments is an advantage. Key responsibilities of the role include: ·Visiting client sites to conduct site assessments & monitoring in relation to all services provided by the company. ·Collation of data and generation of subsequent technical reports. ·Preparation of sampling media pre and post assessment ·Recording chain of custody for sampling media. Key Attributes The post holder shall possess the following core competencies viewed as key to the successful fulfilment of the role. ·Good planning & organisational skills ·An ability to communicate well with staff and clients via phone and in face to face meetings. ·Good IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft programmes, outlook, excel, word ·Ability to work un attended to achieve defined objectives and KPI’s. ·A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure. ·A professional outlook and positive attitude ·UK Driving license (Please note applicants must be over 21 for insurance purposes) Salary The initial trainee salary during the first year of employment will be £14,000 following the successful completion of a number of professional qualifications and adequate performance, a review will be conducted with the potential of salary £21,000 as a junior technician.
