Trainers’ profiles Aleena Kareem – paper F7: She is ACCA Qualified and holder of the BSc.(Hons) degree from Oxford Brookes University. Aleena Kareem is the subject specialist for the Financial and Corporate Reporting papers and has been teaching this stream for the past 6 years. In the capacity of a subject specialist, Kareem has developed the standardized course notes for a variety of papers and assists the Research & Development Department and Examination Department, in creation of interim and finals tests and mocks. As a Tutor, Kareem has a balanced teaching approach, which suits all types of learners. Her interactive and innovative style of training is also a success due to it being highly exam focused. Aleena Kareem has been involved in marking papers for other professional accountancy qualifications and is also the in-house trainer for recruitments in Foundation Diploma. Due to her past laurels, Kareem was also invited to conduct the Study Schools of F1 and F3, as well as Train the Trainer sessions for F1, F2 and F3, in Nepal and Bangladesh on the ACCA platform, in January 2014. Wasiq Majid – Paper F8: He qualified his ACCA in 2005 and joined EY for his audit training. By 2009 he decided to add to his academic achievements by also becoming a Chartered Accountant of Pakistan. Post completing his practical experience, he decided to become an educationist and joined SKANS School of Accountancy. Since then he has been making his mark in the field of Audit & Assurance. As a tutor, Wasiq ensures student’s exam success by conducting various in-class practice sessions and assessments, while keeping the class environment friendly and making the tough audit concepts, easy-to-learn.
