Training Summary This week sees us get stuck into the 3 rep stuff. I hope you all managed your 5s last week and took good notes on how they went. If you achieved >10 reps on your heavy 5+ round then you might need to consider adjusting your 1RM up to a new predicted 1RM for your calculations. A simple 5kg more for lower body and 2.5kg or upper body will make a huge difference. You can then see how you get on this week with the 3+. Of course there is always the chance that you just had a good day with the perfect combination of nutrition, sleep and movement preparation so dont always assume things have to change immediately. Well have another crack at progressing your muscle up and snatch technique as well as building strength and speed through the necessary ranges of movement to make these easier. For you long WOD lovers we have a nice one on Tuesday and a double AMRAP on Saturday (bring your running shoes). With this months focus skills and a tough selection of technical exercises during the WODs this week you will need to really make sure that you read your notes and listen carefully to the coaches to make sure you use the best scaling options for you to get the most out of each session. Be on time, listen up and work hard - easy really. Coach Carl is back from his strength training this week so hell be buzzing with new cues and tips for you all. Coach Mark is jetting off on a well earned break so there will be a few coaching switches while hes away. Have a great week!
