Training in too many different rep ranges in one program may end up hindering your gains. Each rep range encompasses there own training intensities, volumes and adaptations. A meta analysis on hypertrophy showed that the #1 corollary factor between training variables and muscle growth is training volume. This may indicate that a training stimulus with more volume leads to better results. Therefore it may be wise to focus on achieving a select number of training adaptations, rather than trying to obtain them all at once.
