Training should be hard & heavy! However, heavy is all relative. - TopicsExpress

Training should be hard & heavy! However, heavy is all relative. Relative to you and the exercise youre performing and the manner in which you are performing it. Take the leg press for example. I (Mike) have performed them in different ways during the last few weeks. 12 plates aside for around 15 reps, normal speed at the start of a 100 rep drop set. 4 plates aside for 20sec positive contractions, with a controlled descent for around 6 reps. 7 plates aside for 8sec negative, 2sec pause at the bottom and drive up - 8 reps or so. Which was hard? Which was heavy? Which was brutal? ALL OF THEM!
