Training starts Dec 7! All players and parents please note: first training session will be Dec 7 at 11 AM at Leigh High School in Los Gatos. Please arrive promptly, and do give yourself a few extra minutes to get from where you park your car to the field. Second training session is Dec 14, same time, same venue. There will be a coaching clinic at Leigh High before the player training, and this will start at 9 AM. This is specifically for the coaches to meet each other, and we will be going through a few basic coaching principles. If there are any parents out there who are willing to assist with coaching but have been holding back because you are unsure of what to do, please feel free to just show up at 9 AM. If you have any questions in this regard, please contact Konrad (konrad.michels@me) Gum guards are not required for this session, but you are highly advised to go and get a few (yes, you will lose at least 2 during the season) sooner rather than later. Please bring along cleats: if the grass on the field is even a little wet from dew, it will get really slippery, and we would prefer to not have anyone getting injured. Middle school (U14) and High school forwards, please note that you will probably want to be training in proper rugby shorts as soon as we start working on set pieces: you cant go wrong ordering a spare pair now.
