Training, working out, studying we all do things to be better at something. What is our spiritual workout? Today we are told about the persistence of prayer, being in constant communication with our God so that we can do our best in this race of life. Our difficulty comes when we pray and the prayers are answered but not in the way that we thought. Pray unselfishly rather than selfishly, embrace the life that you are being trained for. I am thinking of the phrase “no pain, no gain” stay committed and pray constantly to God.
