Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) will not guarantee more - TopicsExpress

Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) will not guarantee more markets for Asian countries and only open the door for lawsuit. In an exclusive interview with fz, former Bolivian trade negotiator Pablo Solon pointed out that the goal of many Asian countries is to have their products penetrate the Western market, in particular the United States and the European Union. Ironically, the US and EU markets seem to have reached their ceiling and there are strong signals that the markets growth rate is slowing down. Is the American market growing? Are they buying more textiles, more goods? Why are we doing all of this? To conquer growing, booming markets? One thing I dont understand – at least with negotiations 10 years ago, we were expecting that you are going to sell more, but now?
