Transfer of the Gomburza Monument, 1980. Made by Solomon Saprid, the statue was first erected in the 1970s where the Carlos IV Monument was located on Plaza Roma in front of the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros. The transfer was a project of the Intramuros Administration led by Arch. J Ramon L Faustmann when it was decided to return to Carlos IV statue to its original site. The stones used for the pool area was from the foundations of the old Palacio del Gobernador.
