Transforming Ibadan – A Study in Resistance To Change By Akintokunbo A Adejumo Dear Mr Akintokunbo Adejumo, Just stumbled on the above titled article you wrote, I think, sometime time in 2012, and I cant resist writing to give you kudos for a beautiful write-up that reflects the yearnings of those of us that were born and bred in Ibadan.(Though not son of the soil, as my parents are from Abeokuta and Awe). I left Nigeria for Europe about twenty six years ago, and have since settled to live there, - but I do visit Nigeria about twice a year. I always look forward to the day my people will readily embrace modern positive changes similar to the ones Ive been privileged to see in many major world cities you mentioned in your well written article. I hope and pray these changes we so dearly yearn for will happen in our life time.
