*** Transmission interruptions will be possible through this evening on Oxford NOAA Weather Radio*** There may be interruptions in weather radio broadcasts through this evening on NOAA Weather Radio Station KIH-52 out of Oxford, MS. This may impact the broadcast of severe weather watches and warnings as well as regular broadcasts this afternoon and evening. Technicians are currently en route to correct the problems as quickly as possible. Please plan now for the possibility of broadcast interruptions and plan to utilize other resources such as local television and radio broadcasts, internet resources including the NWS Memphis hompage( weather.gov/memphis), and the cell phone hazard warning notification services. We hope to restore uninterrupted service and normal broadcasts as soon as possible and apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.
