Transmission of Impurities Assalamualaykum, If you have some - TopicsExpress

Transmission of Impurities Assalamualaykum, If you have some impurities at your body/clothes and you hasn’t realised it immediately. Later you see the impuritiy, what places should be washed in this case, because you have had the impurity at your body and you have most likely transmitted it to othere places? Anothere example is, a child, which wears diapers, lies in his bed. After a while the diaper leaks and his clothing becomes wet. Then you check the bed but you don’t find any traces at the bed. Do you have do wash the entire bed, because the child’s wet clothing has touched some places at the bed. What is, if you don’t see any traces at the bed? The last example, if you have some madhiy/wadiy at your underwear, then this wet/damp underwear touches the pants, will this impurity be transmitted to the pants? What should be washed if you don’t see any traces? Jazakumullahukhayran. All praise be to Allah, and may His blessings and peace be on His last prophet and messenger, Muhammad. Firstly, you should keep in mind that you don’t have to remove the impurity from all objects unless: you will pray in them or on them, or they will be carried by you in prayer, or you will wear them outside of the prayer, but they may transmit the impurity to your wet body. Dry clothes don’t transmit the impurity to the dry body. You should not wear them while praying, but, if needed, you may do so outside of the prayer. The stronger position here, which is the Maliki, is that when there is no trace of the impurity, such as color, taste, or smell, then there is no impurity, and it can’t be transmitted to another object. The ruling of impurity stands regarding the object that you know for sure was impure. You should wash of that object what makes you certain you washed the area that had impurity on it. As for the damp/ wet najis cloth touching a dry one: if the damp cloth is not wet enough to be squeezed it will not transmit the najasah. Consequently, the dry cloth will not be rendered najis by the mere touching of the wet najis one. Allah knows best. - See more at:
