Transparency moment.... In 2014 God blessed me unimaginably... Somewhere in the mix I became so consumed with my blessings that I focused more on the creation than the creator.... Im Sure the Holy Spirit whispered warning signs to me... But I ignored.... Eventually the ministry I was put in charge of crumbled.... My marriage became weak ... My opinion of my husband became distorted... My finances declined ... My truck started giving me problems... And my church family became strangers.... I was lost .... Depressed... Unfriendly... Just an emotional wreck ... I Knew what and who I needed but I was so broken and felt so betrayed that my pride wouldnt allow me to get up from my pity party .... People would inbox me or see me and say how they missed reading my posts on Facebook... That encouraged me but still not enough to get on my knees and talk to the problem solver... But believe it or not God used my kids to wake me up from my spiritual nap .... AJ would say ... Momma you dont like them church people? Or momma we going to church today?? One Sunday morning Genesis woke me for service and I just wasnt in the mood so I said maybe next week Gen ... She said well can I catch the van by myself because I want to go To Church... Right then I felt that familiar feeling of conviction.. My choices dont only affect me... They affect my children as well... So I got up got dressed and went to church... I Wish I could say I got everything back 10 fold ... But I havent ... Yet! I believe we are rewarded for our faithfulness... Whether here or in Heaven... I can say I left all that junk in 2014.. This is my season... I am redeemed and I will never forget it again! I Thank God for my children .. My husband ... My true friends ... But most importantly Jesus and the Holy Spirit! IDK where I would be without them! God bless!
