Transparent Moment: I am sharing this tonight because I know I am not the only person who deals with this. Today I had a familiar struggle. It was the struggle of feeling alone. For those of you that know me, you know I spend much of my freetime alone because I rarely have time to myself. Those are times that I enjoy, but here I am talking about the feeling that no one cares that you exist, feeling invisible, irrelevant, overlooked, forgotten, and sometimes completely unloved and unloveable! When I was younger I struggled horribly with this. My faith in God has really healed me in this area!!!! From time to time (mostly when I am on the brink of something great) this feeling rears its ugly head. 8 years ago this feelings would have resulted in bouts of depression and actining out in harmful manners either on myself or others. Today I have learned to live from a place of gratitude!!! I cannot express the view from here!!!! It is a place of total freedom!!! Now, when I have these moments, I think about all the times I should have died, but I am still here, every I love you that someone cared enough to utter, every text message that says WYD? (LBVS), every hug, every kiss, evey smile...The list could go on. I have learned that there is an enemy that exist that desires to steal, kill, and destroy! Dont find it strange that you face hard times (emotionally, physically, mentally etc...) that is going to happen! None of us are exempt!!! I challenge you that in every hard time, you find every single thing you can think of to be grateful for!!! Your circumstance may not ever change, but your heart will,I promise you it is enough to endure any circumstance! It may even take a while before you feel better, but I garuntee it will happen much faster when you meet those emotions with your love and not your fear!!! I hope this helps someone! Love You All!
