Transport systems, this is for my Australian friends, particularly my Sydney friends who have to deal with the transport network in Sydney. This is the closest Underground station to our hotel Munchner Freiheit. Its one stop (2 mins v 15min walk) in the tram that pulls up in front of the hotel in the middle of a 4 lane main road. In the second photo (above ground) you can see a tram arriving at the covered transit area and a bus departing, in the middle there is the entry into the underground. To the left a guy is crossing the bike path. We were in the centre of Munich 20 min after leaving our hotel room! IT ALL JUST WORKS! probably helped that the city had the crap bombed out of it a while back!
