Travel from Manila to Leipzig was like an Amazing Race... Manual check in at NAIA, delays at the immigration... made it to the gate just in time before the plane left. Delayed flight from Manila to Hong Kong (pilot flew in an hour from MNL-HK), so I had to run to the gate to leave for Munich. Munich to Leipzig was better, we were only about 15 passengers, so it was a breeze coming out of the airport. Hard part was the train and tram where I had to push my luggage with a wheel threatening to come off. It was fun and tiring, but the important thing is I made it! Im now staying with my Mongolian roomie and neighbor from Uganda. After all the challenges this week, from house help, club issues, visa delays... I hope this is the start of a wonderful semester!
