Travel tip #327 There are two types of people here in Puerto Vallarta: 1) those people that are familiar with navigating cobblestone streets and can walk comfortably. 2) me Today I decided to closely examine the artistic smooth stones in the streets. (And by examine, I mean fall off the curb in front of an audience and scrub up my knee) I am now deeply impressed with some of the women here wearing high heels -but maybe they are just easier to walk in than my slippery damn flip flops. When I come back to the U.S., I might use my legal skills to sue the designer boutique that sold me these defective shoes for my money back (Old Navy for $1) Note to self- drunk people on the street are NOT sympathetic to handsome Americans that fall ungracefully into the street. And for the record I was not drinking (or wearing high heels), sadly, Im just clumsy. On a more positive note, I was ably to share an entertaining moment for an entire piazza here in Mexico. After suffering from my medical trauma, I had to find a farmacia to perform emergency surgery -and by surgery, I mean hydrogen peroxide and a band aid. Im actually more mad that this ugly band-aid is potentially messing up my very important knee-tan. But at least I have another travel tip to share -the struggle is real!
