Traveland Storm win two games and lose one. On January 22nd the Traveland Storm was at home against the Extreme Hockey Regina Capitals winning the game 5 – 1. The Storm opened the scoring at 15:46 by Brodie Schuette from Brayden Bentz. Then at 13:24 the Storm scored again on the power play by Mark Moriarty from Brandon Halbgewachs and Denin Boesch ending the first period 2 – 0 for the Storm. The Regina Capitals scored the only goal of the second period at 13:37. The Storm scored three more goals in the third period. The first goal came at 19:36 by Travis Sentes from Casey Pirio and Brodie Schuette. The second goal of the period came at 16:30 on the power play by Brandy Anderson from Dylan Herzberg and Taylor Ernst. Travis Sentes scored the last goal of the game at 5:56 assisted by Denin Boesch ending the game 5 – 1 for the Storm. On January 26th the Storm was again at home with the Saskatoon Westleys visiting. The Storm won the game 7 – 2. The Storm opened the scoring at 19:35 of the first period by Brady Anderson from Dylan Herzberg and Taylor Ernst. The Storm scored again at 18:47 by Taylor Ernst from Brady Anderson and Dylan Herzberg. Saskatoon scored their first goal at 17:23 on the power play. The Storm came back and scored their third goal at 16:46 by Brayden Bentz from Matt Coupal and Casey Pirio ending the first period 3 – 1 for the Storm. Saskatoon opened the scoring in the second period at 18:21. The Storm came back and scored their fourth goal at 3:49 by Travis Sentes from Brandon Halbgewachs and Brett Kealey. The Storm dominated the play in the third period scoring three goals. The first goal came at 15:44 by Brandon Halbgewachs from Garrett Legare and Travis Sentes. At 5:52 Brandon Halbgewachs scored again assisted by Brett Kealey and Travis Sentes. Jason Hengen scored the Storms last goal of the game at 2:21 on the power play assisted by Mark Moriarty and Justin Nychuk ending the game 7 – 2 for the Storm. On January 29th the Storm travelled to Saskatoon to take on the Saskatoon Quakers and lost the game 4 – 1. Saskatoon opened the scoring at 6:00 of the first period scoring the only goal in the first period. Then at 4:52 of the second period on the power play they scored their second goal. Saskatoon opened the scoring in the third period at 18:19. The Storm scored their only goal of the game at 7:39 shorthanded by Brandon Halbgewachs unassisted. The Quakers ended the scoring at 3:49 ending the game 4 – 1.
