Travelin With Trini (TWT): Trini and I spent the past six days visiting Nick and Alecia and spent yesterday driving from Atlanta to Harrisonburg, VA. We had a fun dinner with Alecia’s family who are awaiting the arrival of the baby boy Cotter due sometime around 9/15 unless taken sooner. Nick and I played a round of golf on Sunday; my first round since Peg got sick. I think I went out in 51 for the first nine and came back in 53. Not too bad for a 3 year layoff. Gabby came over for a couple of visits with the beautiful 3 month old Collette. Alecia, Nick and I went out for dinner in the Roswell area and ate outside on the sidewalk. The evening air was perfect and the company was excellent! The rest of the time was spent relaxing, watching baseball, telling each other lies (not really lies but you get the idea) , eating carryout pizza in, grilling chicken on the grill and making plans for the arrival on the baby boy Cotter. On Wednesday evening I drove out to Woodstock GA to visit Greg and Cathi and Baxter the beagle. Baxter and Trini had a blast and romped all evening. Cathi fixed a wonderful dinner and we ate outside on their veranda. The six day visit with Nick and Alecia ended too soon and I will see them again as soon as I can! Trini and I are off the Ross Mill Farm in Rushland PA to visit a friend of mine that I that I’ve known since 1970. I’ve put my family and friends on my gratitude list! More to come….
