Travelling on the train to restoration Dear child of God, Sometimes our lives can truly seem to be a bore and so meaningless, but God is busy working on a plan for each our lives that will end in a big surprise. He is the God of new beginnings to bring new joy and praise for His marvellous works of grace. So, hold tight and do not be discouraged. Everything under the sun has its time. Love ~ Uncle Jacques and Aunt Mary. Ecclesiastes 3:1 ”To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven…” • We are traveling on God’s train of restoration, to our new and glorious destination. We are still there to arrive, even while we are still alive. • We are traveling on this train, according to God’s plan for our lives, and purpose ~ It will lead to a bountiful spiritual, and even physical surplus. (Provision) Psalms 80:19 ”Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!” • On this train we have limited space, to run our present and difficult race; sometimes with a frown on our face. Psalms 1:6 ”For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” • Puzzled we may seem, but when we the reach the end we will discover glorious things, about what we could not even dream ~ as destructive as our present situation may have seemed. • Now and again we had the opportunity for our legs and body to stretch, but overall we felt many a time, sad and even wretched. Psalms 126:5 ”Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.” • As we travelled along, things we desired simply flew by, where we felt it was us denied. Tears frequently flowed as we, because of our circumstances, cried. Lamentations 5:20 ”Why do You forget us forever, and forsake us for so long a time?” • All that we could hear was the sound of the wheels on the track: ”Clickety clack”, where there was no turning back. Just the same old daily routine, from it not being weaned. • Oh, the incredible high speed, We feel we just did not need ~ No proper soul our seeds in to plant; this is what we did not want. Isaiah 57:18 ”I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.” • But my dear friend: The Train Driver knows the way, and He will pave the way, where we can peacefully stay. • So let us stay in the flow ~ there is a purpose you know, that will soon before us unfold. Isaiah 43:19 ”Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” • So take heart ~ God is giving us a new start; to patiently wait on Him: now that is being smart. Isaiah 40:31 ”But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Facebook: Jacques van der Hoven.
