Travis update. Good news. White cell counts should be around 12 - 14, from what I understand, the white cell counts determine how strong your immune system is. A 4 is usually for someone who is sick. His white cell count was 1.2 a few days ago then 1.4 on Tuesday. It went up to 1.91 yesterday, and then hit 2.14 this morning, so it is moving in the right direction. Still very low, but getting better. Anxious to see what it will be tomorrow. See what happens when you pray for specific things! God is good. Two of the three doctors told him he may be able to go home tomorrow. We were told yesterday (Thursday) he would probably be in here through the weekend.He will have to see Dr. Jin next Thursday for a follow up at the clinic. Still dont have results on the bone marrow biopsey. That wont come til next week probably. His spleen is very enlarged. The dr. told him NO contact sports, avoid getting bumped and be very careful. He doesnt want a ruptured spleen. He is going to need lots of rest. I think the next specific prayers should be heeling the spleen and thanking God for increasing his counts.
