Looking for participants for a Training Course that will take place near VATRA DORNEI, ROMANIA (mountainous region) : - 3 BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA (or people of other nationalities traveling from BiH) - 2 UK participants (or people of other nationalities traveling from UK) - 3 SLOVENIAN participants (or people of other nationalities traveling from SLOVENIA) - 3 LITHUANIA (or people of other nationalities traveling from LITHUANIA) - 1 CROATIA (or people of other nationalities traveling from CROATIA). You will travel to BUCHAREST and from there we will arrange transport to the location! Project dates are 14 - 22 SEPTEMBER 2013, bu you can arrive 1 day earlier and/or leave 1 day later, to spend in Bucharest on your own expense. You must be over 18 years old !!! Please contact us at: d.g.t.sandra@gmail Objectives for the course: - To empower representatives of different minorities, and the majorities, to be active participants of the social life in a spirit of cohesion - To discuss the definitions of minority, what groups can be considered so and in which cases - To promote human rights and values connecting all people, regardless their ethnic, linguistic, cultural or religious background - To understand how media and internet contribute in the creation of the perception of minorities from their hosting societies - To provide tools to enable participants to build spaces of dialogue and interaction between minority youth and the representatives of the majorities - To share best practices, ideas, approaches, obstacles and problems in the contexts of EU and SEE on the matter of minorities inclusion - To present the Youth in Action Programme as a tool to promote inclusion at local and international level Activities will be based on non-formal education and the methods will focus on debates, in/outdoor games, role-playing, videos, photography, presentations, simulations, brainstorming and cultural nights.
