Treasure Lay Poetic Response #6. Subject: Soul Mates. Title - Soul Mates. What is a soul mate? This query is a cold case, dating back to the primordial inception, we are enabled to answer this question by pursuing the mysteries of what a soul is. They say a soul can be sold, who can benefit from the purchase? Is it not an intangible life force, devoted to change? With access to this power what could be gained? They say we are mind, body and soul, an essential third component within a trinity with a purpose that mimics infinity, dancing and weeping through lifes moments. Energy, atoms, matter, an animated chemistry which have inhabited the bodies of earth for centuries, perhaps even eons. Apparitions, phantoms, ghosts, fairy tales told of spirits from beyond our realm, yet they always find their way home without fail. We appear to be love incarnates, sons and daughters of life awaiting to be lived, we are the procession of genes sewn into a connecting web, touching all lives at the seams. If a soul indeed possesses all this depth, will it take an appropriate mate to bring forth a succeeding step? Id say yes, for like minds flourish, two hearts produce a pounding strength within the breast of the mother giving milk to her babe, fathers strong hands holding his queens thighs, cries turn to silent feeding, both parents wearing a smile. Soul mates are pairs of the divine right to exist, to live beyond existing and bring forth an unseen power which becomes seen.
