Treasures - Marcus Simeone He’s my man, my partner, my soul mate and my friend. The years both wonderful and hard, yet I wouldn’t change a thing. Sometimes we get frustrated, at the curve balls thrown our way, but we’re tragic and heroic, and still standing here today. The four years passed I’ve come to know his body, as I never thought I could, and if I could give my legs to him, to see him stand, I would. It doesn’t matter when the world is selfish, mean and petty, for I know empathy will come, to each one when they’re ready. The sunshine on my shoulders, the magic in my soul, just can’t compare to wealth that others have, only gold. What we have is true in heart, in spirit and in mind, yes, sometimes feeling tragic and the universe unkind. Yet, I think of all the love I’ve known for I have been to me, with a special someone by my side that always sets me free. I could have run around the world, a million places, dreams and loves, but he helped me find it in myself, divine from up above. So weep not for the tragic two or few as you pass by, for they may have the hidden truths , to save you from the lies.
