Treating my dedicated staff to a well deserved dinner after a four day full house complete with a microburst storm, maybe even a tornado. We will be busy for several weeks to recover from storm damage but my staff handled it like pros. No one was injured and campers had a great weekend... so all is good! Thank you to my wife, and business partner Kimberly Austin Foro for your morning shifts and your attempt to keep my blood pressure at a safe level. Thanks to my son Jared Foro for keeping the front office in good working order and managing transportation. Thank you Chad Simmons Slater of maintenance for making yourself immediately available at many short notice call ins and still assisting in the night shift security. Thank you Schuyler Phillips for holding together at the front desk even through I am sure that by the time Sunday morning came around, you were forcing that friendly smile. Schuyler also assisted in night security...off the clock!! Thank you Sandy Stewart and Ron Hipwell for your challenging, but still top end housekeeping work. Believe me, I know what you had to deal with...not pretty! Finally...I would like to extend my appreciation to all my campers. You were all great and I really appreciate your compassion and understanding as we dealt with the storm emergencies!
