Tree Balancing Pose. Start in Tadasana pose, Mountain pose, your feet width apart. Shift your weight to your left foot if planning to pull up right and bend your knee and lift your leg slightly off the floor. Bring your right foot up and place the sole of your foot agains the inner tigh. Do not place your leg on your knee. When you feel you have a balance, bring hand close together and bring up close to your ears. For those with high blood pressure, place hands in Prayer position. Breathe and focus on your point on the wall. It helps with balance to look at one point. If your eyes wonder off you will loose your balance much quicker. Benefits include: 1) Stretches your inner tighs, groins and shoulders 2) Improves your posture 3) Allows you to calm your mind Caution: If you have high blood pressure, do not lift your hands. If you are pregnant and in late trimester, do not perform balancing poses. Hold for 5 breaths. Roll up your leggins or sweat pants to allow better grip of your leg.
