Trek to Annapurna Base Camp: • 10 days round-trip-longest time I have gone without a shower. • Distance walked: 46 miles. • Average grade: 14.8% • Highest Camp: 13,550 ft. • Uphill walking: ~22,300 ft • Downhill walking: ~22,750 ft • ~7 miles worth of slate, concrete and granite steps ranging from 4 to 15 inches in height and 3 to 24 inches in depth. Over 37,000 steps embedded in the trail! • Largest days altitude gain ~4,400 ft. • Largest days altitude loss ~5,800 ft. Toughest overall trek yet. Whats the next trek: Grindwald to Zermatt or K2 base camp (from the Chinese side)! ;-)
