Tremont West Development Corporation won big last night bringing $35,000 in awards! The Tremont Healthy Corner Store Initiative won the Leadership in Community Innovation Award from Enterprise Community Partners for $25,000 thanks to the leadership and hard work of staff member Lindsay Smetana. Additionally, with partners Ohio City Incorporated and Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization, Tremont West was awarded an additional $10,000 from Enterprise’s Nurture an Idea Award to expand the Bike Share program on the Near West Side. We are extremely excited and proud of these accomplishments and grateful to Enterprise and their partners for recognizing the work we do in Tremont!
