Trey Pearson Hush up. Dont criticize anything you see wrong with the church, and if you do, make sure its not in public to try and make change for goodness sake. That is the sentiment of what I got from this article, and for too long has been the way we have come across to too many people in the church. This post seems to be going for all the same likes and shares it criticizes of those who ask legitimate questions or raise legitimate concerns with the church. I think its exactly what the Catholic Church would have said if Martin Luther posted his problems and questions in this day and age as well. We always want to quiet people that have the tough questions or disagree. All too often the church hates talking about real problems within itself, and we are in more of a mass communication on a global scale than ever. Im all for cheering on the church, but Im also completely for listening to all the people that are hurting and have serious questions. Just like we need to grow in our relationships with each other, the church needs to be able to grow, mature and progress forward in our relationship with God. bit.ly/1EaYZLh
