Tribal mentality (spiritual or political) is an insecure mentality. When one of its own walks away or changes their perspectives on a few things it heightens the fear and anxiety in the rest of the clan. In more regressive times you could have been tortured and killed for your perceived heresy of questioning the establishment. Grace gives you permission to leave the tribe, yet still love the tribe, and even invite the tribe to a wider and greater conversation (as a wounded Samaritan and Prophet once experienced). In fact following in the way of peace and love and acceptance of others (and yes, it includes those of other tribes) doesn’t make the so called “sinners” angry…it makes the religious crowd angry, so much so that they will hurl you from a cliff if at all possible. The beauty of the profound paradigm shift of divine grace is in where the unfolding of our journey will take us next... Scarry? At times, yes, but worth every nook and cranny of freedom to soar in such pristine atmospheres. #grace #kindness #soulshift
