Tribute to Comrade Muyangana Muyangana On behalf of the membership of Barotse Imilemas (BIs) and indeed on my behalf,I would like to express my extreme grief at the passing away of a resolute,principled and true Freedom fighter of the nation of Barotseland late comrade Muyangana Muyangana,who passed away on 12th December,2014. Yes,one of us is gone-a Comrade and a true Barotse legend. A man who had walked the talk and lived his life to the fullest. Comrade Muyangana Muyangana,many will you! As a young man,I came to know Comrade Muyangana Muyangana in 2009 as a true freedom fighter committed to the liberation of Barotseland. Comrade Muyangana Muyangana was a man who enjoyed talking to young people,he was a gallant freedom fighter and a man who had inspired many Barotse youths especially the BIs to join the freedom struggle of Barotseland. Indeed he was a humble human being whose desire and dream was liberation and restoration of Barotseland. On the struggle for liberation of Barotseland. He was a gaint,a saint to many,a hero to all who tressure liberty,freedom and dignity of human kind. Indeed Barotseland has lost a selfless man,whose only joy was to fight,secure and establish the rightful status of Barotseland for all Malozi. For many Barotses,they can recount Comrade Muyangana Muyanganas contributions and efforts to the freedom struggle of Barotseland,his dream that the inhabitants of the kingdom of Barotseland,reaped the rewards of a free nation-recognition and respect of a people-fairness and equality. If anything,comrade Muyangana Muyangana was a man! He stood up for the truth! He spoke without fear! Indeed history will remember him as a champion for human dignity and freedom in Barotseland. As many mourn a fallen hero and a true Barotse legend in his own right,my condolences to the bereaved family. May the Almighty (Mulimu wa luna kaufela) provide you with a grieving shoulder during this very testing times. For the fallen Barotse figure in our struggle,a legend and true hero,many salute you! We will always have a special place for you in our hearts. Although you are gone,your dream to free self governing Barotseland will not die too ,we are optimistic that tomorrow freedom shall come and it shall be in total package.
