Tried a new tactic on Madilynns War Against Dinner instead of letting her eat her lunch the moment she gets in the car after school(since shes started school she has NEVER eaten her sandwich, fruit, yogurt ECT ECT at school-she has her drink and her treat which usually consists of a mini, mini bite sized candy bar and thats all-hence the ravenous appetite the moment we get in the car) -we went straight home (after a 15 minute errand) where I had dinner already prepared and waiting and I served her dinner at 4:15-she ate all of it w/o complaining and instead of sitting w/ her at the table for an hour or more-I sat w/ her while she ate for 20 minutes !!!! Now if shes hungry later she can have her homemade lunchable and fruit cup! When Ry gets home she will still be expected to sit at the table while Ry and I eat and talk about our day. Im going to attempt this tomorrow and see if I have more success. FINGERS CROSSED!
