Tried to get into the free clinic last night. Full. They were going to squeeze me in but I just thought " not an emergency so I will just get my records and go to the sliding scale clinic". Got records and now on hold for other clinic. Ahhhh... gonna have them give me a blood test to test the range of uric acid in my blood and to read my results on liver scan and pap smear and get prescriptions filled for my much needed medications. Ahhhh This is a great Stop Gap for us until our health insurance kicks in. They even have a dentist that works on a sliding scale too. Gout is still inflamed but not getting any worse! I have discovered that diet has a direct correlation to amount of pain during a flare! LOL Just gotta keep eating the foods that break down the crystals and flush them out! Looking forward to walking again!
