Tried to keep a very open mind watching Noah last night. The film was entertaining and there were aspects of the film that were were good, such as the portrayal of a man willing to be obedient to God no matter the cost as well as the portrayal of family conflict and confusion that inevitably arises when a man truly does follow Gods call (1 Corinthians 13:12.) Unfortunately, the rest of the movie was propaganda and written to portray the bible as mythology. Mocking God or belittling him is a dangerously arrogant thing to do ... not because His ego is at risk, but because our self-reliance creates a false sense of security behind which we live in denial that a deceitful enemy exists who relentlessly seeks our destruction and is willing to take as much time as necessary to accomplish it (Deuteronomy 28)
