Tried to shop at City Creek Friday because I want to support my local economy however I feel pressured into buying things so they dont treat me like Im going to shoplift. Seriously, I saw a Disney Store Employee take a toy right out of a Kids hand because she didnt want accidents to happen. This is not comfortable or inviting. Went to Smiths Downtown today and as I was walking down the aisle with my Family a store clerk wanted to walk down the aisle, she said Come on, hurry up! I took my groceries back and left. My money is better spent in places that I dont get rushed or feel pressured. When Im teaching my Kids how to behave in public, I ask them to consider that they are involved with a Community and ask them to take responsibility for their neighbors experience as well. This is how we were told to teach & mediate relationships in a Community but not everyone acts or teaches this way. Rather we are expected to live at the impatience of our current Social structure ~ Peace
