Tried to sleep, all that keeps going round in my head is something Aubs said that seems rather profound to me. We were discussing people who HAVE been in her life and were gone for awhile, and others that wish to be a part of her life and HAVENT been there, and just her life in general. It was an emotional journey to say the least! But she looks across at me, eyes over flowing with tears and says, Granny! I have to fix the pain and problems in my past BEFORE I can truely embrace my future Wow! How insightful is that comin from a , soon to be , 13 year old? I keep hearing that over and over. I keep seeing those eyes..my dark eyes, looking back at me with such determination, such resolve. I was talking to a woman, certainly not a child!
