Trinity Covenant Reformed Church is very happy to announce that Dr. Kenneth Skip Dieter will shortly be joining us as an intern and candidate for the Gospel ministry. Dr. Dieter is a retired Air Force Colonel, holds a PhD in Chemistry and is a former instructor at West Point and the Air Force Academy. He earned his MDiv degree from New Geneva after retiring from the military and then was registrar, taught Hebrew and Greek, OT and NT exegesis, and biblical studies at New Geneva. As soon as necessary approvals are gained from the South Central Classis of the RCUS, Dr. Dieter will become an intern, be permitted to teach and exhort and assist Pastor Powell in pastoral duties. He will request licensure exam by the South Central Classis in March, 2015, as preparation for a call and ordination as a Reformed minister. Dr. Dieter served as an elder in the Christian Reformed Church until a number of years ago, when he transferred to the PCA. He is a faithful defender of the truth of the Gospel and is a greatly valued and longtime colleague and esteemed friend of Dr. Powell, pastor of Trinity Covenant Reformed Church. This is wonderful news for Trinity RCUS.
