Trio eyed for auto burglary near Milpitas Walmart Three men were arrested last month on suspicion of auto burglary near Walmart on the 300 block of Ranch Drive, Milpitas Police Department reported. On Aug. 16 at 10:10 p.m., Milpitas police officers responded to the area for an auto burglary that just occurred. A witness called 911 after seeing someone break the window of a parked truck and steal items from within before fleeing to a waiting vehicle, police said. A responding Milpitas police officer saw a car in a nearby parking that matched the description of the suspect vehicle. He made a traffic enforcement stop on the car and allegedly located items stolen during the course of the auto burglary as well as several center punches, police said. The vehicle’s three occupants were arrested without incident. The suspects were identified as Warren Myers, 19, and Famous Reeves, 20, both of Sacramento. Harold Malbrough, a 20-year-old Milpitas area transient, was also taken into custody. They were each subsequently arrested and booked into jail on charges of auto burglary, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools, police said. Anyone with any information regarding this investigation is asked to call Milpitas Police Department at (408) 586-2400. Information can also be given anonymously by calling (408) 586-2500.
