Trip - we completed over 17,000 kms in 38 days. We both suffered minor bike issues but nothing that took more than a few hours to fix. These are my thoughts Trev has a different list for a number of these. Best roads - NT your taxes are well spent on high speed roads we didnt see a patch in the NT. Worst roads - QLD due to endless roadworks Best place - SW WA and the Eyre Penisular Best pub - Kalgoorlie (all were good) Best barmaids - Kalgoorlie Best experience - Bungle Bungle flight Best tour - Ord river cruise Best backpackers - Kununurra Best uniforms - Kalgoorlie Worst night sleep - Tennant Creek Worst town .... There were a few but Tennant Creek due to the locals yelling all night Worst meal ..... Like coffee too many. Surprise meals in Roadhouses were often quite good Highest petrol price in Roadhouses but to be fair they need to generate their own power but 217.9c per litre is hard to beat! Best caravan park - Katherine Worst - Tennant Creek was my first pick but Trev pointed out Bungle Bungles yep dirt dust no redeeming features! Worst driver - a L plater on a bike overtaking us and 4 cars on double lines and blind bend!! Best bargain - $6 per dozen for oysters on the Eyre Pen Though Trev thinks the Lobster Shack was up there! Can i sum up GET OUT and DO IT this was the best time. Would we do this again ? We would without doubt Total cost about $10,000 actually a bit less maybe $8,000 i need to tally it up. Injuries none my wrists are a bit sore but other than that all was good. Loved it all.
