TripAdvisor/Flipkey certainly has a neat business plan: Worsen service while raising prices. Last year it asked me to subscribe to list our apartment for $250/year and then charged my credit card $300 and claimed it had told me that. Then on January 1 it started passing along its cost to process payments. Now it wants me to renew for $399.99 a year (a 33.3% increase). But it cant get its site to calculate bills properly or not to send annoying reminders to renters or provide any decent customer service to landlords. Well Dominica gets lots of sunshine, and on Fe 11 when our subscription runs out before it automatically renews the next day I will tell the company to put its business somewhere the sun doesnt shine.
