Tristen looked SO GREAT tonight! He was joking and laughing and talking animatedly. It was such a dramatic change from just two days ago. The tube in his lung was removed and it was much easier for him to talk and move around. Every now and then he would adjust how he was sitting and you could tell he was still experiencing a lot of pain, but even his eyes were much clearer and he is definitely on the right road. Dana was able to go in and see Devin. The have been reducing his sedatives, and Dana said his eyes were cracking open every once in a while. He was not awake however when we left. He still has a long road ahead even after he comes out of the coma. They expect it to be a while before he is really all there and he may very well have some personality changes. Please keep praying! Pray for the pain in Tristens lower back, it causes him discomfort and it is hard for him to stay comfortable for very long. Pray for Devin, that his recovery time from the coma will be miraculously short, that he will be alert, and that his healing will be a testament to the supernatural power we would expect from God our Healer! Pray also for Lanny! Pray that he finds the time to remember to take care of his own needs as well as his children, and that God will grant him strength, peace,and wisdom to get through the weeks to come. And please pray for Tristens girlfriend Chelsea. She has been tirelessly sacrificing her time and energy to the family and is Tristens biggest supporter. But she was looking a little overwhelmed and tired tonight. Pray for strength, stamina, and patience as she continually lives the hospital life.
